1946 ARMOURED VEHICULE VOITURE TINTIN CARS THE BLUE LOTUS EDITIONS ATLAS 1/43
Subterfuge In Japanese occupied Shanghai, Tintin, having been condemned to death, fears he has only hours to live when Mr Wang appears and helps him to escape from his cell. They "borrow" a Japanese armoured vehicle to enable them to leave as fast as possible and spread discord within the Japanese base. Banzai! This armoured vehicle, created by Hergé, is a combination of two military vehicles. Firstly, the general structure including the typical truncated turret belong to the Japanese Sumida Type 93 Armoured Car. Secondly, the wheels and, especially, the rear mudguards belong to the truck manufactured by the African transport company.
