Caravane Eccles GT 305 The Black Island Voiture Tintin cars Editions Atlas 1/43
Caravan - "The Black Island" (1966) On the trail of two counterfeiters Tintin stops some English tourists for a lift. He settles with Snowy in the caravan and seems to appreciate the landscape, not for very long! Because the attachment of his caravan is broken and it snaps and Tintin ends up in a pond-where a No Bathing sign means Tintin is in breach of the law… This caravan is built in England. It can be found in the 1962 catalogue for Eccles Caravans. Bob de Moor, then working at Studios Hergé, found this little wonder on a reconnaissance trip to our English friends that allowed him to bring back sketches to rework and modernize The Black Island. Warning this item is to be combined with the Triumph Harald car sold separately (see our other auction) Both of them can be displayed in one box. Scale 1/43, from the album "The Black Island", the passengers are: Tintin & Snowy.
